My Chiropractic Story:
‘I was blessed to be raised in a family who knew chiropractic long before I was born and because of that, I have been adjusted since conception! As a child I was rarely sick and didn’t suffer from ear infections and other common childhood issues. Regular chiropractic care and quality whole food supplements allowed me to realize that our Creator designed an amazing body that is self-healing and self-regulating. In choosing a career, it made sense to use my passion for natural health care to help others experience what I have in my life. It is awesome to see how chiropractic care has benefited both myself and the people I have encountered up to this point. I look forward to helping the Bloomington community get well and stay well!’
A NOTE FROM DR. MARANDA:
‘I am currently taking a break from practicing to raise our growing family. While a part of my heart longs to care for other people using the skills God has gifted me with, we also feel that during this season of life I need to be home with the children He has blessed us with. Thank you for understanding my desire to focus on my family.’

My Chiropractic Story:
‘My story is 180 degrees in the opposite direction from my wife’s. I grew up constantly sick, being in and out of the doctor’s office seemingly my entire childhood. Antibiotics and other medications were an ordinary part of growing up for me. From ear infections and strep throat to asthma and allergies, you name it and I probably had it at some point. I have always wanted to be able to help other people and an education in the health care field seemed to be the most fitting way for me to do that. I had only been to a chiropractor once in the first 22 years of my life, for none other than low back pain in high school. After looking into numerous professions, I felt right at home with the hands on approach to health that chiropractic care offered. I originally went to chiropractic school with the mindset that chiropractic care was only for pain relief. However, the more time I spent learning about health and the body itself, the more I began to see clearly what amazing things the body can do on its own. I have become very passionate about what chiropractic can do for people, as I have seen some amazing changes in my life and the lives of others as a result of chiropractic care. I also understand some views and uncertainty that many people still hold in their minds, because it wasn’t very long ago that those views were my own. It is my goal to make clear for others the true meaning of living a healthy life.’
Chasity Christopulos, BSN, RN
Registered Nurse – Health & Wellness Coach – Nutrition Response Testing Practitioner
I am beyond excited to be a part of the Healthy Living team! I am a nurse with a background in family medicine and labor & delivery. My passion is supporting people as they work toward improving their health naturally.
I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science. After starting our family and working in the insurance industry for 14 years, I felt called to stay home with my two boys while they were young. Once they were both in school full-time, I decided to go back to school to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Illinois State University – Mennonite College of Nursing. I have been working in healthcare since graduating in 2016. Outside of work, my husband, Nick, and I enjoy traveling, kayaking, hiking, and watching our boys run track and cross country at Cornerstone Christian Academy. Go Cyclones!
My journey to Healthy Living Family Chiropractic actually began when I was struggling with digestive issues that weren’t responding to conventional treatments. I was frustrated and discouraged, but then I discovered Nutrition Response Testing with Dr. Chad and started making diet and lifestyle changes based on his recommendations. To my amazement, I was able to truly heal my body and eliminate the reflux symptoms that had been plaguing me for so long. That experience was a turning point for me. It inspired me to further my education in holistic healthcare and nutrition and look for ways that I could use these tools to help others.
Now, as a health and wellness practitioner myself, I’m able to share what I’ve learned with others to help them achieve their own health goals. It is very rewarding to see our patients make positive changes and experience the benefits of a healthier lifestyle. I am incredibly grateful to be in a position where I can use my nursing background and my passion for holistic healthcare to make a real difference in people’s lives.
